Book launch for 7th edition of ’80:20 – Development in an Unequal World’ by Colm Regan – 24 January 2017

We are delighted to welcome Colm Regan, one of the editors of 80:20 – Development in an Unequal World, who will be launching the 7th edition of the book in Aberdeen.

The event will be on Tuesday 24 January 2017 from 10:30am – 12:30pm at Aberdeen Science Centre (formerly Satrosphere), 79 Constitution St, Aberdeen AB24 5TU.

All are welcome, but 80:20 is particularly relevant for teachers and upper-stage pupils of Social Subjects.

New GREC Language Cafe starts January 2017, in Northfield/Mastrick

In January GREC will be starting up a new cafe to cover the Northfield/Mastrick area of Aberdeen.

language-cafe-northfield-mastrickThis will be based in Cummings Park Community Center, on the 1st and 3rd Monday of every month, 11am-midday, starting on Monday 16th January.

As with the other cafes, these are free and open to anyone whose first language is not English.

There is no need to book, people can just come along.
